Sunglasses
Flip Flops
Good walking shoes for hiking
Flash Light for cave exploration (or when power goes out)
Bug Spray
Camera
Snorkeling Gear

Think as an ECO tourist when you plan your out island trip. You need to be in the mindset of being at one with nature. Only then will you discover what Long Island's beauty is all about.

The Goombay House and all of Long Island is surround by nature and wildlife which you must be able to adapt to.
If you find that the noise of tree frogs, grass hoppers and the sight of land crabs, scorpions, spiders, etc. scares you, this is not the place for you.

Consider bringing ziploc bags for storing your food items.  Do not leave food out as it may attract bugs, flying insects, ants, geckos, land crabs etc.
If you are able to, consider bringing a cooler on your trip.  You you are usually allowed to bring frozen food items from the USA. Check with your airline for current restrictions.

Four light tackle fishing poles are available for your use at the Goombay House, just bring your own hooks, lures, leader etc.
