DIVING AND SNORKELING |

Stella Maris is well known for offering superb diving and snorkeling in some of
the clearest water in the world. Some of the better known dive sites are 'Conception
Island Wall', 'Shark Reef' and 'Dean's Blue Hole'. |
While staying at the Goombay House, you should
contact Stella Maris Resort Club
or Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort to participate in
their diving trips.
Scuba
Equipment is available for rent.
Scuba diving trips from $ 100.00/day per person and includes 2-3 dives.

There are many close to shore snorkeling sites in Long Island. So bring your
mask/snorkel and fins and have an unforgettable experience.
Some of our favorite snorkeling areas include; 'Dean's Blue Hole', 'The cliffs at
the Columbus monument' and in and around the tide pools at the Goombay House.

Interesting facts: On April 11, 2007, with a dive time of 3’09” and without the
assistance of fins, ropes or weight belts, William Trubridge reached an unassisted
free dive depth of 82 meters at Dean’s Blue. |
